OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — It’s time to mark your calendars for the next four years of EAA AirVenture.
On Thursday, officials announced when the annual Oshkosh fly-in convention will take place, all the way through 2029.
“EAA AirVenture is one of the aviation community’s major highlights each year, so announcing the dates for the next several years is important for enthusiasts around the world to begin planning their trips to Oshkosh,” said Jack Pelton, EAA CEO and board chairman, in a news release.
We also realize that AirVenture’s dates affect the scheduling of many other aviation events, as well as other activities in Wisconsin, so it’s important to have these dates finalized for multiple years in advance.
The dates are as follows:
- 2026: July 20-26
- 2027: July 26-Aug. 1
- 2028: July 24-30
- 2029: July 23-29
EAA was first held in 1953 and has occurred annually in Oshkosh since 1970. It’s the world’s largest gathering of aviation fans, with guests visiting from over 90 countries. The 2025 event drew a record-breaking 704,000 people.
