APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Appleton’s new library took home a prestigious architecture award.
Earlier this month, the Appleton Public Library was a finalist for The American Institute of Architects Chicago Chapter Awards.
On Thursday, the library learned it won the AIA Chicago Lerch Bates People’s Choice Award in the Community & Civic category.
The library’s 18-month-long, $40.4 million renovation project turned it into a vibrant civic space with natural light.
