MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested 21 illegal individuals in Manitowoc County, the FBI confirmed.
Officials report nine of those who were arrested Thursday were targeted for their suspected involvement in the sexual assault and/or trafficking of minor American girls.
Wisconsin immigrant rights organization, Voces, says it is aware of the arrests and is working with the affected families and conducting a full investigation.
