Chelsie Lehmann (Portage Co. Jail)
(WTAQ-WLUK) — A second arrest was made in connection with an Amber Alert case in Portage County.
Portage County District Attorney reports to WSAW the biological mother of 6-year-old Ruby Lehmann is facing charges.
Chelsie Lehmann, 31, was booked into the Portage County Jail on charges of aiding a felon and obstructing an officer, WSAW reports.
Last Thursday, Ruby Lehmann was reported missing from her grandmother’s home in Almond. Investigators were told her uncle, 34-year-old Jordan Coyle, had taken her from her grandmother’s house.
On Saturday, Ruby and Coyle were found in the school forest near Almond.
Ruby was taken to the hospital for a medical check but appeared to not have any physical injuries, officials say.
Coyle was taken into custody and is being held on a probation violation.
Lehmann is scheduled to be in court Tuesday. A court date for Coyle has not been set.
