LITTLE CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A pedestrian died after they were struck by a vehicle in a Little Chute crosswalk.
Around 7:45 a.m. Friday, police responded to the intersection of E. Main Street and Buchanan Street for a report of a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.
Police say an 82-year-old Little Chute man was struck by a vehicle, driven by a Little Chute woman, while he was in the crosswalk.
The man was airlifted to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Police say the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the investigation.
The area was closed for about three hours for accident reconstruction which was completed by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
