OCONTO (WTAQ-WLUK) – The number of measles cases in Oconto County jumped from 25 to 36 this week, an increase of nearly 70%, according to state figures released Friday.
The county has been dealing with an outbreak since mid-July.
To this point, all of the documented cases have been among those unvaccinated.
The age breakdown is as follows:
- 0-4 years old: 4 cases
- 5-17 years old: 18 cases
- 18 and older: 14 cases
No deaths have been reported.
