MENASHA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A ribbon cutting and open house was held Wednesday for St. Joseph Food Program’s renovated digs.
Now that the “Grow with St. Joe’s Capital Campaign” is complete, the organization is showing off its upgraded building at 1465A Opportunity Way in Menasha.
Client areas, the donation entrance, program preparation centers and staff offices were all updated, thanks to a $1.95 million fundraising campaign. Local businesses, foundations and community members all played a part.
Food pantry officials say their new-and-improved facility will allow for even more outreach.
“Our staff and volunteers are just thrilled with the spaces. Our clients are happy. It’s just really nice and it’s conducive to the service that we give,” said Monica Clare, executive director at St. Joseph Food Program.
“This capital campaign has been a true testament to the power of our community and St. Joe’s. We truly could not have achieved this goal without the support and kind words of our supporters,” added Development Director Heather Du Vall.
It is humbling to see the history of this beautiful organization, to see where we started and where we are now. I am excited to continue sharing our story and achievements going forward and cannot wait to show our renovations to everyone who has followed St. Joe’s along this journey.
The fundraising campaign took place over the course of two years, while the renovations themselves lasted approximately 8-9 months.
