Kewaunee Police Dept. PC: Fox 11 Online
KEWAUNEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Kewaunee police are looking to identify two girls and an older male after a strange incident happened at one of the district’s schools over the weekend.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. Sunday after a father said he dropped his three kids off to play basketball at the school.
Shortly after the kids were dropped off, they called their father to come get them.
The children told their father they were approached by two girls, approximately 14-15 years old, one was blonde and the other was brunette. The girls asked the kids if they wanted to pet their chicken which was located in the back of a nearby greyish/gold minivan. The kids say there was an older man in the van. He is described as 6’02” with shaggy brown hair and a beard.
The father also told police he saw the minivan with the back hatch open and a chicken in a cage.
Kewaunee police say it could turn out to be a harmless incident but they are investigating.
