GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is expanding its leadership development offerings with a trio of new certificate programs.
Officials say the courses, which are making their debut this fall, will help elevate nonprofit executives and empower women in leadership roles.
“As Northeast Wisconsin faces a wave of retirements and ongoing workforce shortages, it’s crucial that we prioritize the development of tomorrow’s leaders,” said Jess Lambrecht, executive officer for the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Training at UW-Green Bay, in a news release.
These new certificate programs are designed to equip professionals with the skills, confidence and support they need to step into leadership roles, drive meaningful change in their organizations and help us all rise as a region.
Here’s some more information about each of the certificate programs:
- Executive Coaching for Nonprofit Leaders: Offered as part of UW-Green Bay’s Nonprofit Education and Development Network, enrollees in this online program will receive personalized coaching and consultation to help nonprofit professionals navigate complex challenges and lead with clarity.
- Executive Coaching for Women in Leadership: This mastermind-style cohort for women in middle and upper management roles, focused on breaking barriers and building confidence, is a creation of the Schreiber Institute for Women’s Leadership at UW-Green Bay. It blends in-person and virtual experiences
- Women in Healthcare Leadership Series: This fully online program addresses the unique challenges and opportunities for women leading in the healthcare sector and is a collaboration between the Schreiber Institute for Women’s Leadership and the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Training.
These new offerings are part of UW-Green Bay’s portfolio of credit and noncredit leadership certificates. Others includes Supervisory Essentials, Nonprofit Leadership, Emerging Leadership and Organizational Leadership.
