TOWN OF CENTER, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Outagamie County Wednesday afternoon.
It happened near the intersection of Meade Street and Mackville Road in the town of Center at approximately 3 p.m.
Sheriff’s deputies say preliminary investigation revealed a motorcycle traveling southbound on Meade Street struck an SUV turning southbound onto Meade Street from private property.
Driving the motorcycle was a 20-year-old man from Freedom. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
A 26-year-old woman from Grand Chute was driving the SUV. She was uninjured.
Meade Street was closed for approximately four and a half hours after the collision. Officials said alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
