GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Calling all dog lovers! For the first time ever, get ready for the most tail-wagging event of the summer, Pooches in the Pool.
Your furry friends can splash, swim, and socialize to their heart’s content at Joannes Aquatic Center, 1430 E Walnut Street, on Saturday, August 23 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
“We’re excited to bring this brand-new event to the community,” said Larissa O’Malley, City of Green Bay Recreation Coordinator. “It’s a fun and unique way to wrap up the pool season while celebrating our four-legged family members.”
Each owner must be at least 18 years old and may bring only one dog. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Dogs must be vaccinated and able to show proof of current vaccination card at the time of check-in at the pool.
A maximum of 100 dogs are allowed to attend; Registration is available online or by calling (920) 448-3365.
