(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers claimed the series and moved back into sole possession of first place in the National League Central Division with a 10-2 victory over the Mariners in Seattle Wednesday.
The Mariners had ended Milwaukee’s 11-game winning streak the night before.
Brice Turang drove in three runs, and starter Quinn Priester shut down the home team on two runs in seven innings to get the win.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about Turang’s game as well as the 17 hits the Brewers got.
He also talked about how the Brewers have won 10 games in a row when Priester is on the mound.
Murphy said it was a good bounceback win.
Seattle scored just three runs in the three-game series.
After an open date Thursday, the Brewers return home to host the Miami Marlins Friday with Freddy Peralta getting the start.
