Osseo, WI – Farmers and agricultural professionals are invited to attend a free Forage & Nitrogen Management Field Day on Tuesday, July 16, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Lambalot Acres, located at S12020 County Highway HH, Osseo, WI.
This event will feature hands-on learning and timely updates focused on key management practices for forage systems and nutrient use. Participants will explore:
- A new Forage Inventory Tool to aid in feed planning
- Techniques for the Efficient Use of Nitrogen in cropping systems
- Updates to the Custom Rate Guide
The event will also include insights and discussions led by Extension Educators:
- Ryan Sterry, Livestock Educator for Chippewa, Dunn, and Eau Claire Counties
- Jerry Clark, Crops & Soils Educator for Chippewa, Dunn, and Eau Claire Counties
- Teal Polzin, Farm Pulse Project Coordinator
Attendees will gather at the designated field entrance, located at GPS coordinates 44.651424, -91.216032. The event is free to attend, and no pre-registration is required.
