(WTAQ-WLUK) — An Oshkosh man will spend six years in federal prison for his involvement in a drug trafficking scheme.
Peter Henkle, 51, was arrested in August 2024 after the Oshkosh Police Department executed a search warrant at his residence and located more than 950 grams of cocaine, over 7.5 pounds of marijuana and nearly $322,000 in cash.
He admitted to investigators “obtaining and distributing numerous kilograms of cocaine over the course of approximately two years.”
Authorities seized large sums of money in Henkle’s bank accounts and numerous vehicles he purchased with proceeds from drug sales.
As part of his sentence, which was handed down Monday, Henkle will forfeit to the government over $579,000, two Harley Davidson motorcycles, a 2019 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack and a 2020 Ford F250 Lariat Tremor. Henkle was also ordered to pay a $50,000 fine.
