APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Appleton’s Octoberfest has announced its musical lineup for this year’s festival, including a mix of music from a variety of genres.
This year’s event will kick off at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 27 at the Houdini Plaza for a ceremonial toast and traditional polka performance by Copper Box.
This year will feature 19 bands across several stages, from blues and polka, to hip-hop and indie music.
There are also some new elements to this year’s festival, including a VIP experience that includes a private lounge, discounted beer tickets and other exclusive perks.
The bar and wristband booths will also go cashless this year. Guests will be able to pay with credit or debit cards, or mobile payment.
Food, arts and crafts vendors will continue to accept cash and cards, with cash being the preferred method of payment.
