GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Sixteen people have applied for an open seat on the Green Bay school board.
The applicants are vying to replace former board member Kou Lee, who resigned May 8 amid questions about whether he actually lived in the district.
The applicants are:

Darren Adkins
John Lor
Brant Pearson
Rico Visnaw
Katie Gentry
Christina Joski
Matthew Seegert
Damien Doran
Alyssa Proffitt
Megan Martens
Samantha Meister
Miranda Schornack
Elliot Christenson
Kaylin Sinquefield
All except Adkins provided a Green Bay mailing address to the school board. Adkins listed no address.
The school board plans to discuss the applications on Monday, then interview candidates on June 16.
The appointee will serve out Lee’s term, which expires in April.
