WTAQ takes home five awards at state broadcasting gala, Matt and Rob named state’s best

MADISON, WI (WTAQ) — WTAQ staff took home five first-place awards at the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Gala in Madison on Saturday.

WTAQ’s 6-9 am flagship morning program “The Morning News with Matt and Rob” was named the Best Medium Market Morning Show. Rachel Charniak’s investigative piece into conditions at the Green Bay Correctional Institution took first in the category for Best Hard News/Investigative story, while Agricultural Director Joanna Guza took home three awards, including Best Online Personality, Best Use of Social Media, and Best Promotional Accouncement for her work with WiscoAg News.
