KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A teacher at St. Ignatius Catholic School and Chesterton Academy in Kaukauna was arrested Wednesday.
Collin Killoren taught logic, philosophy and debate to students in grades 7-12. He has been placed on administrative leave.
His arrest is part of an investigation by the Appleton Police Department “following the confiscation of Mr. Killoren’s personal devices.”
According to a news release, preliminary discussions with police “indicate that no students at St. Ignatius Catholic School and Chesterton Academy have been identified in this situation at this time.”
School officials are cooperating with the investigation.
“This is the first we are hearing of any issues surrounding Mr. Killoren. He passed all background and reference checks during the hiring process,” school officials said.
