Milwaukee Brewers bullpen botches another game

(LEARFIELD) For the second straight game, the Brewers weren’t able to hold a lead at Arizona.

They went up 2-0 Sunday, but couldn’t keep the Diamondbacks from scoring five times for a 5-2 win.

Milwaukee’s bullpen had blown a four-run lead in Saturday’s 5-4 loss.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy said his team missed some opportunities on Sunday.

Murphy talked about the loss and the start by Freddy Peralta.

Murphy said the Diamondbacks hitters came through.

William Contreras provided all of Sunday’s runs with a homer off Zac Gallen in the first inning.
