GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The mother of a Super Bowl-winning quarterback is making a couple guest appearances during NFL Draft week in Green Bay.
Randi Mahomes, the mother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, will be in Green Bay to inspire the next generation of young athletes and their parents.
Mahomes will be at Field Fest at Historic City Stadium on Wednesday, April 23.
She will host the QB Challenge where parents and kids can team up, go head-to-head, and compete for fun prizes.
“I still remember when Patrick was a kid—always outside throwing a ball, challenging anyone who’d play. Back then, it wasn’t about trophies or rankings—it was just about having fun, competing, and spending time as a family. Those moments meant everything to me,” Mahomes said.
The family-friendly event is free to attend, but registration is required.
Then on Thursday, April 24, Mahomes will speak at the Raising Athletes: Real Talk for Sports Parents event at the Ferguson Family YMCA.
Mahomes will share her personal journey of raising kids in competitive sports, offering real-life stories, hard-earned lessons, and honest advice for families navigating the world of youth athletics.
“When Patrick was growing up, there were so many moments I wish I had a playbook for—times when I had no idea what the right decision was or how to best support him. Looking back, I’ve learned so much, and now I get to share those lessons with other parents walking that same path,” she said.
The speech is free to attend but you must register.
