(LEARFIELD) DENVER – It was already a blowout when the Brewers scored seven runs in the ninth inning on the way to a 17-2 win at Colorado over the Rockies Wednesday night.
Leftfielder Jackson Chourio hit his fourth home run and knocked in five.
Grant Anderson picked up the win in relief Wednesday night.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said it was a good night for the Brewers offense.
He talked about the job starting pitcher Tyler Anderson and the bullpen did in the Rockies to just two runs.
Murphy also talked about how Chourio has been lights out since 0-for-5 start in New York.
So are the Brewers no performing at the level they had hoped for?
Murphy then talked about how the entire lineup has exploded with production.
Milwaukee has won six times in the last seven games.
Newcomer Quinn Priester gets the start Thursday afternoon as the Brewers go for the series sweep.
