Milwaukee Brewers’ Chouriou drives in 5 in win over Reds

(LEARFIELD)  MILWAUKEE – Jackson Chourio knocked in five runs as the Brewers took three out of four games from Cincinnati.

Sunday’s score was 8-2.

Milwaukee has posted wins in five of its last six games after an ugly start to the season.

Chad Patrick started and earned his first major league victory in his second start.

Patrick said that he’s taking advangage of an opportunity.

He said that he’s been pretty consistent so far in his pro career.

Patrick said that his goal is pretty simnple.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that Patrick is doing great.

Murphy added that 10 games into the season, the Brewers who added Nestor Cortes to the injured list on Sunday, are handling the pitching issues as well as could be expected.

The Brewers have a day off Monday, then travel to Denver for a game against the Rockies Tuesday.
