FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Fond du Lac man tuned himself in and appeared in court Tuesday in connection with a February chase on Interstate 41.
Ronnie Johnson, 39, faces several counts, including first-degree recklessly endangering safety, fleeing/eluding an officer, failing to update sex offender registry information and using a different name on the sex offender registry.
A $500,000 cash bond was set for Johnson. He is due back in court Thursday for a preliminary hearing.
The Feb. 27 chase on I-41 began near Townline Road in the town of Eldorado. It continued into Winnebago County before law enforcement officials ended it south of Oshkosh.
