GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Green Bay Area Public School District has listed two of its former school sites for sale – Keller and Froebel – as it consolidates classrooms across the district.
Although other schools have or will close, these are only two current listed for sale, a district spokesperson said. The district declined to comment further Tuesday on the process.
The former Keller Elementary School, 1806 Bond Street, is listed at LoopNet.com with a note “This property can no longer be used as a school.” Keller closed a year ago. The listing touts the 9.3-acre site as a “Level site for development flexibility and excellent visibility for enhanced exposure.”
The former Froebel kindergarten center, 3542 Finger Road, is also listed at LoopNet.com, noting it’s just a few blocks from Mason Street and I-43. It is a 3.1-acre site, which once was the Holy Martyrs of Gorcum facility.
Tank and Wequiock also closed in spring 2024. Langlade, MacArthur, and Elmore are slated for closure.
