Wisconsin Badgers losing Freitag to the transfer portal

(WNFL) – The Wisconsin Badgers basketball team is losing Daniel Freitag to the transfer portal.

The freshman was considered a prize “get” when he committed to Wisconsin but off-season surgery led to limited minutes this past season at Wisconsin.

Badgers play-by-play announcer Matt LePay talked about Freitag on the Mike Heller Show on Monday.

Freitga, a 6-2 guard out of Bloomington, Minnesota, played in 14 games for Wisconsin and scored just 2 points.
