(MARQUETTE COMMUNICATIONS) NEW YORK – Marquette University women’s lacrosse senior Hanna Bodner earned BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week honors for the second week in a row, the league office announced Monday.
Bodner had 11 goals, two assists, seven ground balls and seven draw controls in MU’s 2-0 week.
The Haverford, Pennsylvania native had a career-high eight goals and one assist in the win against Arizona State, including netting the game winner in overtime. She followed that up with a hat trick against Xavier on Saturday.
Tessa Boehm earned BIG EAST Freshman of the week after tallying five assists last week for the Golden Eagles. Boehm had two assists against Arizona State and a career-high tying three assists in the win against Xavier on Saturday.
Tess Osburn earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. Osburn scored eight goals and had one assist in two games last week. She had a hat trick and four ground balls against ASU before adding five goals, one assist and one ground ball against Xavier, tying her career-high in points with six.
Marquette returns to action on Wednesday, April 2 at noon CT against Denver at Valley Fields.
