MARINETTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Three teenagers were arrested in connection with an early-morning shooting in Marinette.
Shortly before 3 a.m. Thursday, Marinette County Dispatch received multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots near Cottage Row and Hattie Street.
Law enforcement determined a residence in the area was struck by gunfire.
“Officers learned that before this incident there was a disturbance involving individuals at the targeted residence,” a news release states.
Two males from Green Bay, ages 17 and 19, were arrested near the 2700 block of Doran Street in Oconto and taken to the Marinette County Jail. A 19-year-old female from Oconto is also facing charges related to the shooting.
The names of the individuals involved have not been released, pending formal charges. Police say this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.
