OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Weekly outdoor siren tests are set to resume this weekend in Outagamie County.
Emergency management officials say the tests will take place at noon on Saturdays.
The test would be skipped if there is severe weather. There is rain in the forecast for this Saturday.
County officials remind citizens that sirens are intended for outdoor warning only, and are not meant to be heard inside buildings. The county recommends a NOAA weather radio and weather smartphone app to receive weather alerts.
The county says it will participate in the statewide tornado drills April 10 and 1:45 and 6:45 p.m.
