TOWN OF PLYMOUTH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Eight cats died in a barn fire Monday in Sheboygan County.
Just before 6:20 p.m., the county’s Emergency Communications Center received a report of a barn fire on County Road PP in the town of Plymouth.
When crews arrived, they found the barn fully engulfed. Eight cats were killed in the blaze and some equipment housed in the barn was destroyed.
There were no injuries to citizens or first responders.
Authorities believe the fire was sparked by an electrical issue.
More than a dozen police and fire agencies responded to the scene.
