GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Wisconsin State Patrol Fond du Lac Post says 62-year-old Josh Flowers was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 6th offense.
A state trooper was traveling southbound on Ashland Ave. near Liberty St. Friday night.
The trooper saw a Mustang leave the road and drive through a grass ditch onto S. Oakland Ave. Then, the vehicle hit a pole, left the scene, and went to a nearby parking lot.
The trooper also saw Flowers get out of the vehicle and run away.
After a brief foot pursuit, Flowers was arrested. That’s when the trooper saw significant signs of impairment.
After an investigation, the trooper arrested Flowers for OWI. He was taken to the hospital.
A search warrant was also obtained and a blood draw was done, which are pending.
Flowers is being held in the Brown County Jail.
