(BREWERS) MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers have signed left-handed pitcher Tyler Alexander to a one-year contract.
Alexander pitchedin 23 games last eason with a 6-5 record and a 5.10 ERA in 107 2/3 innings. For his career, he is 17-28 with a 4.55 ERA.
To make room on the 40-man roster, left-handed pitcher Robert Gasser was placed on the 60-day injured list.
The announcement was made by Senior Vice President and General Manager Matt Arnold.
