OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) — In an effort to modernize and streamline the city’s parking permit and enforcement systems, the City of Oshkosh is partnering with Passport.
Through the Passport app, Oshkosh residents will be able to apply for, purchase, and manage their permits digitally; eliminating the need for in-person visits and paper-based systems.
The new system went online on Monday. Additional features are expected to be added over time.
This shift comes after the City of Oshkosh used Duncan Solutions for parking enforcement for the past three years, but ran into issues with the performance and reliability of the software.
Cost of the new system is $107,000, with the money coming from ARPA funding.
