(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – What was hoped to be a deep playoff run ended after 4 quarters in the NFL’s Wild Card Round in Philadelphia on Sunday when the Green Bay Packers lost 22-10 to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur said the team played hard but too many mistakes.
He said it was far from a complete effort that led to the defeat.
LaFleur said that he feels for his team.
As for the off-season, LaFleur said they’ll spend the offseason working to figure where things went wrong.
Love talk: Packers quarterback Jordan Love talked about whether or not the team improved this year,.
He also talked about what he was feeling after the loss.
As for the team’s losses, Love talked about 6 of the 7 losses coming at the hands of the Eagles, Vikings and Lions.
Love said that those losses and the first-round playoff loss does not mean the arrow is pointing down on the season.
Safety first: Packers safety Xavier McKinney said it was a tough ending to the season.
But, said McKinney, they’ll learn from this
