(247NEWSSOURCE) MILWAUKEE – Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Milwaukee Bucks to a win over the San Antonio Spurs in the Cream City.
Milwaukee defeated San Antonio 121-105 at the Fiserv Forum.
Antetokounmpo fell just short of a triple-double, finishing with 25 points, 16 rebounds and eight assists.
Damian Lillard scored a team-high 26 points and Brook Lopez had 22 as the duo combined to convert nine three-point attempts.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers talked about what led to the win.
Rivers said the defense helped the offense.
Rivers also talked about Antetokounmpo’s improvement at distributing the ball.
The Bucks have won back-to-back games to move to 19-and-16.
Keldon Johnson paced San Antonio with 24 points in the losing effort.
The Spurs have lost three straight to fall to 18-and-19.
The Bucks hit the road this Friday for a game in Orlando against the Magic. Orlando is 22-16 and 1 1/2 games ahead of the Bucks in the Eastern Conference standings.
It’s a 5:30 pre-game and 6 p.m. tip-off on 1440 and 101.9 WNFL.
