GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Gear up for Touchdown Downtown, a special event series celebrating the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay.
It’s an effort between Downtown Green Bay, On Broadway Inc., and the City of Green Bay Parks and Recreation Department.
So far, events include a Booyah Battle, Uncle Mike’s Kringle Combine, Saturday Farmers Market – Draft Edition, a Draft Day 5k and more.
Red Sember, Marketing & Communications Director with Downtown Green Bay, says there was a lot to consider when selecting events.
“We thought about ‘what is the best flavor?’ and ‘what represents Green Bay, downtown, and has the heart of the city involved?'” said Sember.
And, of course, fans will be able to learn more about the Packers – through the Living Packers Heritage Trail – with live actors throughout downtown.
“They’ll get to tell the stories that are so impactful and powerful to the Packers, this region, how we became part of the NFL, and all those rich, beautiful traditions and stories,” said Sember.
More events are soon to be announced.
