(WNFL) – Damian Lillard missed a tying 3-point field goal attempt on the Bucks’ final possession and the Portland Trailblazers hung for a 105-102 win at FiServ Forum in Milwaukee on Saturday.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee 31 points and 11 rebounds and had given Milwaukee a 102-100 lead with 2 free throws late in the game.
Anfernee Simons the scored on a layup and was fouled to complete a 3-point play and put Portland ahead to stay with 23 seconds left.
After the Bucks turned the ball over on their next possession, Simons was fouled and hit 2 more free throws for the final margin.
Simons finished with 28 points for Portland.
AJ Green and Lillard had 21 and 16 points, respectively, for the Bucks.
Next up for Milwaukee is a road trip to Toronto on Monday to face the Raptors.
