(GREEN BAY ATHLETICS) DAYTON, Ohio –The Green Bay men’s basketball team fell on the road at Wright State on Thursday, 74-51.
Jeremiah Johnson led the Phoenix (2-14, 0-5) with 14 points. Preston Ruedinger also tacked on eight points and three steals and newcomer Yonatan Levy chipped in with five points and six rebounds off the bench.
Levy, a 6’9″ freshman forward from HaMerkaz, Israel was added to the active roster earlier today. Levy played for Hapoel Eilat of the Israeli Basketball Premier League in 2023-24 and received final eligibility certification from the NCAA in December.
Wright State was led by an efficient 20-point performance from Brandon Noel, who finished 7-of-12 from the floor. Logan Woods finished with 14 points and Jack Doumbia had 11.
HOW IT HAPPENED
After a Foster Wonders jumper with 13:00 in the first half, the Phoenix took a 10-9 lead. Unfortunately, GB was outscored by the Raiders 26-10 the remainder of the half and entered halftime with a 35-20 deficit.
Wright State kept widening its lead after intermission, constructing a 74-46 advantage that ended with the 74-51 final.
