MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WTAQ-METRO) – The Minnesota Vikings are on a nine-game winning streak following a 27-25 win over the Green Bay Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium.
The Vikings got out to a 27-10 lead before the Packers scored 15 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. However, Sam Darnold found Cam Akers for a first-down pick-up on Minnesota’s final drive to ice the game. Darnold passed for 377 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception, while Justin Jefferson caught eight passes for 92 yards.
The 14-and-2 Vikings can clinch the number-one seed in the NFC North with a win over Detroit next week. Jordan Love passed for 185 yards and a touchdown. The Packers dropped to 11-and-5.
The Packers close out the regular season with a game against the Chicago Bears Next Sunday Lambeau Field
