KEWAUNEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A trio of men made court appearances last week Thursday in a Kewaunee County ATM tampering case.
Jhoenderson David Rojas Eganez, 26; Yolfreide Perera, 24; and Alejandro Jose Sevilla Sanabria, 24; were bought before the Kewaunee County Circuit Court for bail hearings, where a $500,000 cash bond was set for each suspect.
Rojas Eganez was arrested on December 16 after leading authorities on a high-speed, early-morning chase. An off-duty Kewaunee County Sheriff’s deputy noticed suspicious activity happening at an ATM in Luxemburg and alerted law enforcement.
ATMs around the area were checked and at least one other ATM appeared to have been tampered with, deputies said.
Village of Luxemburg residents who have home camera systems are asked to check their footage for any suspicious activity between Dec. 15 at 9 p.m. and Dec. 16 at 5 a.m. Contact Investigator William Raduenz of the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department at (920) 388-3100 with that information.
An investigation is ongoing, with assistance from the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations, Mid-States Organized Crime Information Center and several law enforcement agencies statewide.

- Criminal damage to property
- Theft
- Improper use credit card scanning device
- Fraud against a financial institution
Yolfreide Perera is being held on recommended charges of:
- Theft, party to a crime
- Fraud against a financial institution, party to a crime
- Improper use credit card scanning device, party to a crime
- Criminal damage to property, party to a crime
Alejandro Jose Sevilla Sanabria is being held on recommended charges of:
- Theft, party to a crime
- Fraud against a financial institution, party to a crime
- Improper use credit card scanning device, party to a crime
- Criminal damage to property, party to a crime
