GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Green Bay Packers have punched their ticket into the NFL Playoffs after a 34-0 victory Monday night over an injury riddled New Orleans Saints at Lambeau Field.
The Packers came into the game with a 10-4 record while the Saints were 5-9.
The Packers scored touchdowns on their first 3 possessions. And kicker Brandon McManus booted field goals of 55 and 46 yards.
Josh Jacobs ran for 69 yards and a 1-yard touchdown on 13 carries. He also caught four passes for 38 yards. Quarterback Jordan Love went 16 of 28 for 182 yards, including a 2-yard touchdown to Dontayvion Wicks. Chris Brooks and Emanuel Wilson also had 1-yard touchdown runs,
The Packers hit the for the next game, traveling to the Twin Cities and a date with the Vikings on Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 3:25 P.M.
