(MILWAUKEE BUCKS) MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and guard Damian Lillard have been named to the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup All-Tournament Team, the NBA announced today. Antetokounmpo, who was also named to the 2023 NBA Cup All-Tournament Team, becomes the only player to receive multiple All-Tournament Team honors while Lillard receives his first NBA Cup All-Tournament Team nod.
Antetokounmpo and Lillard led the Bucks to the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup Championship and a perfect 7-0 record in the NBA Cup this season. The Emirates NBA Cup MVP, Antetokounmpo averaged 30.5 points (T-4th in NBA), 10.2 rebounds and 7.7 assists (13th in NBA) per game while shooting 66.7% from the field in his six NBA Cup games. Lillard also appeared in six NBA Cup games this season, averaging 27.3 points (12th in NBA), 8.3 assists (9th in NBA) and 4.0 rebounds per game while shooting 48.5% from the field, 45.9% from three and 95% from the free throw line.
As a duo, Antetokounmpo and Lillard combined for 57.8 points per game and 347 total points in NBA Cup games this season. They’re joined on the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup All-Tournament Team by Trae Young (Atlanta Hawks), Alperen Sengun (Houston Rockets) and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder).
