GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Green Bay Police Department is welcoming several new faces and promoting a few familiar ones.
During a ceremony Monday, five new GBPD patrol officers were sworn in and three current officers were promoted to new ranks, after approval from the Police and Fire Commission.
“Today, we have five new officers joining a highly respected, effective, and professional agency. We also have three current officers who are dedicated to leading us into the future. Please join me in congratulating all eight individuals,” said GBPD Chief Chris Davis.
The new GBPD officers are:
Patrol Officer Tyrel Barney
Patrol Officer Bradley Glisczinski
Patrol Officer Dylan Hill
Patrol Officer Joseph Lannoye
Patrol Officer Macie Heisel
Individuals promoted to new ranks include:
Lieutenant Solomon Ayres – 15 years of service with GBPD
Detective Sheila Carlson – 7 years of service with GBPD
Detective Matt Woods – 7 years of service with GBPD
