KEWAUNEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Dawn Jimenez was sentenced Tuesday to 25 years in prison for the physical abuse of her 7-year-old step-daughter.
Jimenez, 38, was also placed on extended supervision for 15 years by Judge David Weber, court records show. She was previously convicted of being party for repeated physical abuse of a child causing great bodily harm, chronic child neglect, and causing mental harm to a child.
Previously, Alan Finch was also sentenced to 25 years in prison for his role in the case.
Finch’s daughter was taken to a hospital in October, 2021, which then notified police it appeared the girl had been physically abused.
