TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Two Rivers community is honoring a child who died this year with a toy drive.
Members of the community are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys as part of the Operation Elijah Toy Drive.
Elijah Vue, 3, was reported missing in February. His remains were found in September. The child’s mother and her boyfriend are facing charges related to his death.
Toys can be dropped off at the Two Rivers Police Department at 1717 E. Park Street by Dec. 15. The drive is also accepting cash or check donations.
The toys will go to kids in need in the community.
The drive is being hosted by Remembering Elijah Vue Facebook group.
