(WNFL) – LaMelo Ball scored 50 points but the Milwaukee Bucks still managed to defeat the Charlotte Hornets 125-119 Saturday night at FiServ Forum in Milwaukee.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard more than offset Ball’s efforts, combining for 63 points. Antetokounmpo finished with 32 points and 11 rebounds while Lillard scored 31.
It was the Bucks’ fourth straight win and improved their record to 8-9.
Gary Trent Jr., Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis added 16, 13 and 11 points, respectively, for Milwaukee.
The Bucks shot well on 3-point attempts, making 18-0f-37.
The Bucks are now off until Tuesday when they play in Miami against the Heat in an NBA Cup group play game.
