GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Friday, crews began clearing a popular parking spot in downtown Green Bay.
The Adams Street parking lot is now closed.
In its place will eventually be an eight-story, 268-unit luxury apartment building.
Construction is slated to start next month and will take close to two years to complete.
Downtown leaders say they hope to avoid any major issues during that time.
