(WNFL) – The Bay Port Pirates put a bow on the 2024 state high school football season by winning the school’s first-ever state football championship on Friday, defeating Muskego 25-18 at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.
The Pirates took a 19-0 lead in the first half over the Warriors en route to the win.
Brady Moon was a beast on the ground for Bay Port, rushing for 241 yards and 3 touchdowns on 24 carries.
Quarterback Matt Stevens added 70 yards rushing and 82 yards passing.
Bay Port finished with 397 yards of offense while holding Muskego to just over 200 yards.
Bay Port dominated time of possession, holding a 28:01 to 19:59 edge.
Joey Shaw led Muskego offensive, completing 5-of-15 passes for 86 yards.
Jackson Niemiec led Muskego with 53 yards rushing on 8 carries.
