(WNFL) – The Green Bay Preble boys soccer team and the Luxemburg-Casco girls volleyball team have advanced to the championship matches in their respective sports.
Preble defeated Marquette 2-1 in overtime.
Talan LeCaptaine put Preble up 1-0 in the eighth minute with a shifty move in front of the goal.
Marquette tied the game a little over 3 minute later on a goal by Ben Bausch.
The match remained that way until the 93rd minute when Edwin Santiago scored an unassisted goal after an Marquette goalkeeper miscue.
Preble will face Middleton for the Division 1 title at 7 p.m. Saturday night.

In Division 2, Luxemburg-Casco advanced to Saturday’s championship match with a 25-15, 25-17, 25-17 win over St. Thomas More.
Isabella VanderVelden led Luxemburg-Casco with 10 kills. Alayna Deprez had 23 assists. Rylan Kaminski and Aubrey Frey had 17 and 15 digs, respectively.
