(WTAQ-WLUK) — The presidential race in Wisconsin has moved into a statistical dead heat, according to the latest Marquette University Law School poll.
The poll found Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris leading Republican former President Donald Trump 50-49% among likely voters. That is within the poll’s 4.4-percentage-point margin of error.
According to the poll, the race has tightened since earlier this month, when Harris had a 53-48% lead.
The poll, released six days before Tuesday’s election, was conducted Oct. 16-24. It reached 834 registered Wisconsin voters. Of those, 753 were identified as likely voters.
The poll comes the same day as Trump is scheduled to hold a rally at the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon, and Harris is set to rally in Madison.
