GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — With the 2024 election less than a week away, the spotlight remains on consequential swing states like Wisconsin.
As presidential candidates, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, have been hot on the campaign trail, there are still some voters who say they haven’t made up their mind.
“Still on the fence, I haven’t quite decided what I’m gonna do, so we’ll see,” said Paige Bain-Vrba of Green Bay.
FOX 11 went around Green Bay, and talked with roughly 50 people who anticipate voting in the election.
The vast majority indicate they already know who they’re voting for, while five told us they aren’t quite sure.
“For the election, there’s always pros and cons for both big parties and you know, there’s some pros from like one side that I would like, and some other pros on the other side I might like,” said Emmanuel Villalpando of Green Bay.
Both political parties are keeping Wisconsin top of mind, with numerous visits planned to the Dairy State this week.
Monday, Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz will be in Manitowoc and Waukesha.
That’s also when Republican VP hopeful JD Vance will be in Racine.
Trump will make an appearance in Green Bay Wednesday with former Packers QB Brett Favre.
Harris will appear in Madison for a campaign rally that same day.
We asked the undecided voters, which issues would they like to hear the candidates address more during these visits?
“Definitely inflation cause it is hard, it is definitely hard out here with everything going up in prices,” said Villalpando.
“I’m really big on women’s rights, abortion laws, everything like that so, I’m really focused on what’s happening for women,” said Bain-Vrba. “Especially when I’m looking at having kids in the future, you know, what’s going to happen for me, what’s going to happen for them.”
Early in-person voting will continue this week in Wisconsin.
